The movie was on an island the guy was a pilot and he came in from his flight & saw the lady at the bar. He gets her to start talking to him. It's raining or snowing/icing and he tells her that he will meet her there when he returns and they will have another dinner, but he knows that he will never make it back from his next delivery.
