Gay men like me but women don't seem too much?
I am kind of frustrated. I am 27 years old, I work out a lot, I am slightly above average height at 5'11, I have short brown hair and brown eyes. Tan skin. I dress well for the most part. I guess I am just very frustrated with women. I get hit on a lot by other men. I have been single for almost 5 years. I am going to college, so I am at least average intelligence :)
Now my question is, why aren't women interested in me at all? I mean, obviously the guys are, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against gay people. I just don't understand it, I mean if I wasn't attractive I don't think the men would be trying to get with me, but I don't understand why none of the girls are? It is frustrating because I see all of my friends either constantly having sex or getting married, and I am alone always.

Are you waiting for women to come to you or are you making the first contact?

While it may seem old fashioned, many women are still raised to expect males to pursue them.

It may also be a miscommunication in signals that are being sent out and received on both sides. You may be looking for more direct signals while the women you come into contact with may be more subtle.

If you go into a situation thinking that women won't be interested in you, you could be appearing slightly stand-offish or not very confident.

If you are trying to approach women and failing, you may need to try a different way and/or place. For example, if you mainly meet women at a bar, try getting involved in hobbies where you can meet people who have the same interests you do.

If you are interested in a female (and she is available) ask her out, what's the worse she can say? No?

    Ryan27,

Welcome to this beautiful site, first!

Much of what I wanted to say had been said already by Cat1864. Still, I would advise you not to lose heart or faith in yourself, or in other people's faith in you. There are many takers for you, I believe, but there is only one deficiency, i.e. miscommunication, and if there is any other, it is your deficiency of courage to take initiative.

Go fot it, they are waiting...
    GOOD LUCK!

How do you know women are not interested in you?

How many have you asked out?

If the answer is ZERO--then your answer is "women think you are not interested in them".

Please keep in mind that not everyone here believes in your God.
