Can I pull 208 from an old square D panel?
The panel itself looks pretty shot, the cover has been painted a few times and I'm a little nervous of trying to get it open. I know I need to get a 2 pull 30amp breaker and #8 wire. Are most stack able dryers 208volt? What if I have no room in that small panel for a 2pull breaker?

Well, considering we have no idea what panel you are talking about, and we don't know your setting, it is impossible to say whether this can be done.

Most residential electric dryers are 120/240 volt. This is two hots, a neutral and a ground, on a 2-pole breaker. Typical this is a 30A circuit wired with #10cu.

Can you provide us with a few details to help us understand your situation?
    Location.
    Panel model or anything else.
    System voltage.
    Etc.

A pic of the panel would help a lot.
