    Stomach Pain
I've been having really bad abdominal pain. It's usually on and around the belly button area. It feels like someone is pulling on my insides from the inside. I've never felt this kind of pain and I've given birth to 3 kids with no meds. When I get this pain I really can't breath in or move around. I usually try to curl inward or lay flat on my stomach. The pain usually last about 30 minutes and towards the end it feels like I'm being stabbed. Its usually tender to the touch. I've had this pain for a few months now and it is always in the same area I've noticed nothing that triggers it. It just comes and goes away just like that. I've asked an RN and it wasn't much help.

Acute abdominal pain needs to have a professional evaluation right away because it could be due to very serious reasons such as acute appendicitis, a ruptured spleen, a ruptured aorta, perforation of the stomach, etc. In your case, the pain comes and goes, so it could be kidney stones or gallstones, but don't depend on that guess. Go to the ER.
