All I can remember is one scene, it seems like it was probably filmed in the country side (england maybe?) there's an old house, it's dark, and there are these sprites/fairies/leprechauns (who knows) who appear as flashes of light. I thought at first it might be The Secret Garden but that is definitely not the right one. Outside the house there's definitely a garden with lots of flowers, the scene I'm thinking about is at night. I've had this scene stuck in my head for years but can't find a name to the movie.
