My hyundai accent 2004 standart doesn't start. The engine crank, but there's no fire. I change the camshaft and crankshaft sensor. Also change my timing belt, my alternator, my starter, my control box and my computer. But if I pull the car with my pickup, it runs. While the engine is running, the computer doesn't give me any diagnostic code. Someone have any idea?

I also check my fuse, relay,. Even jump start the starter to check if it was the switch.

Thoughts:

. Remove and fully charge the battery--most auto parts stores will do this for free.

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter--be very thorough.

. Replace the coil, especially if you have 100,000 miles or more on it. It may be marginal and only work when it's not being really stressed.

. Check, or replace, the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting.

. Check the neutral starter switch.

. Remove and fully charge the battery--most auto parts stores will do this for free.

-- receive positif voltage, but no negative voltage... what can stop the negative voltage or what is suppose to send it.

-- by jump start my relay, I mean by pass the starter and the engine crank but didn't start.

. Check the neutral starter switch.
-- I by pass it. I put a little piece of metal in it.

From my experience, bench testing coils is not worth much, since it does not simulate the intense heat they generate and experience under the hood. My bet is there's some issue with the coil. How many miles are on the coil?

Then how the car would start by compression (pull by an other car)? The car doesn't start at all with the key at start, engine cold or hot, it doesn't start at all! I just don't understand why I should spen money on new coils if it get voltage, positif and negatif, and make fire?

Let me ask you, then, why did you spend lots of money and change the camshaft and crankshaft sensor, timing belt, aternator, starter, control box, and computer? You stated there is no "fire." Doesn't that lead you to possibly suspect the coil? Maybe someone else can try to make sense of this for you.

First because because both sensor were bad, if one or both are out, it stop gas and fire. Which I didn't mention because gas problem is solve. Timing belt needed to be done, and because if my timing was offset, the computer would probably cut my fire. After 6 months my alternator was jam, and when I start it by compression, mean pull the ****ing car in third gear, the engine run and blow my strap.

And here's why I don't think it's the coil.. no fire at my sparkplug, no fire at my coil, no fire at the sensor before my coil! Before those coil there a sensor call camshaft position sensor (now new)... so from somewhere before the coil, it doesn't give any electricity! And I add an other computer and control box at home and I change it.

And if my coil like you said was the problem, why do I have fire when I start my car by compression. It doesn't make any sense to me!

Here something I didn't tought about... On that car there's an alarm system that force you to use a remote control before turning the key to start the car. I disable it.. but 2 months before my problem start, I had a weird electrical short : when I turn my signal flasher on the right my radio shutoff. When I stop the car (key to off) and restart the car, my problem was gone.

So guess what I found, my gas problem was maybe my alarm system. Maybe I have a short in my alarm system and the bypass wire is burn or cut. So tomorrow I'm going to try to find the in and out and bypass the alarm system.

Hey TxGreaseMonkey, I finally change my coil pack.. guess what, it change nothing at all! Now when I try, change something and try, unplug this test, replug and try... when I turn my key to off and even remove it, my electrical fan start. I already it's an electrical problem. But were?

I found out that the fuse ecu2 (15A under the hood) does not receive any voltage.

Now my ecu2 got power, but my crankshaft position sensor doesn't get any power.. is it suppose to have power when the key is on and when the engine cranks? Can anyone send me a shematic wiring?

Hi if I was you I would scrap the piece of **** and use yor time doing something constructive or wanking?
