I'm searching for the title of a movie about a young convict that escapes prison and is on the run. When a storm brews up he finds shelter in a house that has been evacuated and he meets a girl who ran her car in a ditch nearby. She plays the cello and they fall in love. In the end he is hunted by the police and killed by a gunshot while diving of a dam.

Note: The man prison guard) who shoots him drinks a strange liquid before he shoots someone. To give him more accuracy or something.
