Okay so my printer is brand new it is a HP officejet 4500 wireless and I just used the printer for the first time and I got a paper jam and I pulled it out and now I turned it off but it is frozen and says Shutting Down but it isn't?t because it is frozen and the on and off button keeps blinking PLEASE HELP BEFORE I GET IN TROUBLE! WHAT DO I DO WILL IT EVER WORK AGAIN? PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!

It is nothing to worry about... just turn off the printer & the paper will automatically come out.If this doesn't work then do as follows:-
At the back of your printer there is a cover which can be removed by pressing from both sides(it is a detachable part), from here you can easily remove papers.

As noted, make sure the jam is completely removed. Even a small sliver ripped off can interfere. If it still won't stop blinking then pull the plug for 30 second and try it again.
