    Salary laws?
I am from North Carolina. Is there a Federal law that regulates the minimum amount a salaried employee should make?

Minimum wage laws still apply to salaried workers. If you weekly, monthly or annual salary calculates out to less than minimum wage your employer could be in trouble.

Generally you calculate your hourly based on your annual salary divided by 52 divided by the hours in your standard work week (usually 35-40 hours).
