Two HPT when 3 weeks late- both negative (one at night, one first thing in the morning). No symptoms other than the obvious missed period. Been very stressed (in college we had midterms)and I had been on 3 different BCP in 4 months. Last period August 24 (the month after I stopped taking the BCP)and now it is OCT 10. I have been experiencing cramping like I am about to start any second but it hasn't happened yet (started around week 2 1/2 of being late) and has intensified today. Should I trust the HPT and accredit this to sinus problems, stress, and getting of the pill?

I think you can accredit this to any of your symptoms.

I know that coming off the pill takes some time for your cycle to return to normal,however if you are still experiencing problems with no regularity, maybe it is a good idea to go and have a word with your doctor.

Thank you! I did eventually start and then I went to the doctor... everything came back normal and I'm back on the pill.
