I put nuva ring in because my boyfriend ad I decided not to try but then we changed our minds and I took the ring out only after being in for 8 days ( I put ring in after last period ended)... Now three days later I am back on my period... Is this normal? Or could something else be going on?

Any amount of hormone in your body can throw off your period. The nuva ring would have been enough to be supplying your body with the hormone to hold off your ovulation and period, then when you took it out the hormone dropped and kind of messed up your cycle. I would call your OB. She could possibly give you advice or ask you in for a visit. If no other symptoms occur you should be okay, but if you are still worried talk to your doctor.
