I really need some help I have recently noticed tiny white bugs in my kitchen bathroom and all my hallway walls. I have had an exterminator out who said they where mites of some sort and fumagated my whole house. I have now 3 days later found they are slightly bigger and brown and that there are lots of small white ones also. They move very fast and there heads look separate from there bodies with 6 legs I really do not know what these are and how to get rid of them.

I have the same problem in a new house. I have tried everything, sprayed raid on them and all over the house but think they are coming out from the sockets in the house and its driving me crazy They don't seem to be about in the winter but are returning again for the 3rd year in a row, as seen a new baby tonight, god knows where the rest of the family is, please help somebody!! Rosie if you discovered how to get rid of them please let me know, thanks.

"Mites of some sort" is a very lazy type of answer to get from a professional. You might want to collect some samples and take them to an entomologist. Check local colleges to see if they have one.

Thanks Beardedsumo for your reply, I know two girls who live a few miles away who also have them, they both live in new houses too. I called renotkill and they said it sounded like plaster beetles so I hired a dehumidifier for a week and house seems well dried but still same problem. Seen 3 in my bedroom last night, that's the most I've ever seen together. They always appear on the same wall opposite my bathroom but the bathroom should be well dried as always leave that window open all day. See odd one in my hallway and odd one in my kitchen. I dry clothes in my utility, again window is always open but never see any there so was thinking if it was a moisture problem, surely they would be there all the time?

Temperature affects humidity and humidity related issues, even the difference between day and night. Take some samples to them or have rentokill come look at them. You won't solve your problem until you identify it.
