    20 gallon well tank?
I want to set my pressure to 30 psi on,50psi off,I am filling my bladder take to 28 psi with the water drained.. I had messed with the pressure settings.. So they are not set to 30-50... can I adjust them after I turn pump on without causing harm to the water tank?

Yes. Turn on your pump and watch for where the pump cuts on and then off. Note those pressures. (Run water if needed to get it to turn on, then turn off the water and let the pressure build until it cuts off.)

You will adjust your switch (with breaker off) by turning the large center nut. If you need to increase your cutin/out points, then turn clockwise. To decrease, turn counter clockwise. It's a little trial and error. Do a full turn with the power off, then turn it back on and cycle the pump on/off. Readjust and continue until you get to where you want it.

It should maintain a 20# differential or at least close to it. If not, then the smaller nut can be used to increase/decrease the cutoff pressure only. Shoot for the 20# differential.

This website can be helpful. Look about 1/4 of the way down to see a good description of the process.

Please do. It's always nice to see how things turn out. Remember to be careful with the power.
