    Home buying and assumeable loans
HI my name is TLawren And I'm trying to buy my first home a duplex preferably. I has an offer on a side by side duplex and the financing fell through because my mortgage broker mis-understood my earnings. She thought I worked full time when in reality I work Part-time due to a medical condition. Anyway now she says the lender I was working with before doesn't really want to work with me because of my income even though with crunching numbers I Qualify for a 100,000 duplex. Is this true that you know I feel I should be able to get someone to work with me I'm an RN for goodness sakes, I also heard I might can qualify for an FHA loan but my broker/lender didn't tell me this. I also Heard of a assumable loan can I qualify for that and what is it exactly. If you can answer any of these questions to a desperate women I'd greatly appreciate it.

    Hello T:

Keep looking for other lenders. They are NOT all the same. Yes, there are assumable loans out there, but they are rare.
