I don?t remember much about the plot. A researcher goes to a village in the jungle and there are some kind of monsters that go out on night. I think you never see them until the end. The village has high walls and a big gate for protection. It ends with the researcher escaping in a helicopter and when you think it?s safe, a monster that's hanging from the helicopter shows up and the movie ends.

You're right! I didn't even tried to give the title I remembered as I thought it wouldn't help. I'm from south america (Uruguay) and the translated to spanish title here was pretty much the same. As far as I remember it was translated to "dance of the goblins" (in spanish: "la danza de los duendes"), pretty much the same. That's really uncommon, usually they translate to titles that have nothing to do with the original one. That was really fast. Thanks a lot, it was a movie that I watched a lot as a kid and couldn't find it on the web without the title.
