I had recently helped a friend install a reman engine in his 1995 mazda miata. Although it had run when we took out the bad engine, the new engine just cranks and does not start. We installed new timing belt (which is deffinatly in time), new coil and wires. We have fuel pressure and spark, however I think there may be a problem in the cam/crank sensor. Pre OBDII and I can not get any codes. Any suggestions?
