Noisy toilet and sinks, but not all
The upstairs toilet started randomly making a shaking and rattling noise, enough to wake us up. The downstairs guest bath also makes the noise--as do the sinks in both baths and the kitchen. Master bath not affected. Seems like there is a lot of air pressure in them. What's the cause, what's the solution? It's 4am and has woken up 4 of the 5 of us it's so loud!

Is anything done to start the noise or does it simply start by itself?
Is the noise the same from the sinks as from the toilet?
Pump or city water? What's the house PSI?
More details please. Back to you, Tom
