    Levy on estate account?
I lost my house and the 2nd on my home remain unpaid after the auction of my home. The lender is seeking to levy on my personal bank accounts. I am also the executor of my mothers estate and have an estate account at the same bank. Can the lender levy the estate account if at the same bank even though the money is not all mine?

No, the estate account is not in your name but the name of the estate, therefore it should not be subject to any attachment. But it would be smart to make sure you let the bank know that. Tell them that they may receive a writ of execution against your personal accounts, but it would not apply to the estate account. Do this in writing and have it filed in the account records.
