I just got my ears pierced for the first time in 19 years and I can feel a bump next to the hole one of my ears. What can I do and will it row if I take my ear ring out?

I had the same thing happen to me after I got my cartiledge on my ear pierced. I'm guessing its just probably scar tissue, or part of the healing process. I ended up leaving my earing in, and the bump seemed to get a little better once it completely healed. I would just make sure you clean it everyday, so an infection doesn't start.
