I recently took a psych eval test during which I was shown a piece of paper with 15 objects in a block format about 3 by 4 inches containing numbers, letters and Shaped objects placed randomly in rows within the block matrix. After a brief moment to examine this it was removed and I was asked to write down any items that I could recall. What is this test, and what does it evaluate ? I drew a blank and was unable to recall any of the items upon request. After leaving the testing I was however able to recall several of these items as well as there approximate location within the matrix. What does this indicate ?

It sounds like they were testing your short term memory and your ability to decern one object from another. Why were you given a psych test ?
