How do you find the vertex of the graph f(x)=-(x+3)^2+2
You should have a formula somewhere for the vertex of a quadratic function... I believe it's something like -b/2a (check to make sure that's it before using it... it's been years since I used that method :))
Just expand out the parentheses so that you have a quadratic in standard form and use the vertex formula.
