I have a sharp pain where my left leg meets my torso. It at times is very strong, and then recedes. It feels like a nerve being pinched. At first I thought is was from a screen put in for a hernia putting pressure on a nerve, but it is too far below where the hernia was. Any idea's?

Ideas, sure, actual diagnosis, no. My guess is the screen.
And how far below? It can't be very far.

Nerve pain isn't always felt at the place on your body where the irritation is. I spent 35 years having pain about where yours is, and down my leg to my toe, that turned out to be from scar tissue around my sacro iliac and the sacral nerve - originating in my back, not my front.
