Daily smoking has caused THC to accumulate and attach to fatty tissues and organs. As it releases it enters your blood stream, is metabolized and is excreted (in part) in the urine. It is the release process of THC that is poorly understood.

The time is anyone's guess. Could be as short as 10 days or as long as 60 days. THC is an unpredictable molecule when it comes to detection in urine tests.
