    No power to jvc television
I have a jvc 32' flat screen, in the a.m. It worked fine, but later in the day tried to turn it on and got no power at all to the set. Is there an in line fuse or something similar that may have blown? And to avoid the obvious, yes, it is plugged in and the outlet works fine. Thanks in advance for your help with this.

Do you get a standby light (assuming you normally get one)?

There is a possibility that there is a blown fuse on your power board.

    What's the model number?

Did it normally have a standby light? Do you have any level of electronics knowledge? Are you comfortable using a digital multimeter to test the fuses? If you take apart the TV, do so at your own risk.

You can test the fuses with the DMM. Also look for any bulged capacitors, or any obvious burn marks.

Chances are if it's not something like fuses or caps or something simple like that, it isn't going to be worth fixing. Board replacement can easily be $100 USD or more. And one can easily get a new 26" LCD (even a brand name) for just a little more.
