I am new to your site but I have a problem. I am completing my Accounts SBA and the trial balance won't balance. I have recorded the transactions and inserted the figures but it is still not balanced. Ido not have enough space to send you the transactions however I need help as this is due very soon. Thank you.

First, go back and look over all of your journal entries from your transactions, adjusting entries, etc. and makes sure that each journal entry, the DEBITS equal the CREDITS.

Second, make sure you did your adjusting entries correctly.

Thirdly, make sure you posted the journal entries correctly to your trial balance. For example, if you were to Dr. AP for 400, make sure you indeed subtracted 400 from AP instead of adding it.

Why can't you post it? Way too many JE or just that AskMeHelpDesk has a character spacing limit? If it's the latter, you can just post it in more than 1 post.
