My dehumidifier will run for 15 minutes and then shut down (fan also) and then resume operation after 30 seconds. Is this normal? I have the RH level set to 50.

Is the run off tank empty or full when this happens? Keeping the tank empty may help this issue. My dehumidifier does not do this sort of thing. But I no longer keep it on 24/7 as it does not need to be on all the time except in the winter when it snows and is very humid in the house.
