I am constantly getting canker sores! After reading online, I know milk and baking soda can be used as a base. After I get a new one, I gargle with salt water and proxide. Does anybody know how to prevent these painful cankers?

Here is something that you can try. I was getting them too and someone suggested taking vitamin C. It did seem to keep them from springing up. Worth a try, can't hurt.
Thanks I'll give it a try! Did you take vitamin c pills or foods that contained large amounts of vitamin c?
I take 500 mg. of C every morning, and that seems to keep canker sores at bay.
I took pills
