It does not even want to make noise

Do the guages and lights work? Radio? If yes, turn the headlights on and have someone look at them as you try to start the car. If the lights stay bright, could be starter, ignition switch, starter power lead. If the lights go out it is most likely a very low battery. If nothing works, sounds like a bad battery. Start with a battery jump or take the battery to Autozone or similar and have them check it out. Did you leave the lights on?
