I'm a 69 year old male, married for 44 years, with a great family.

I have no physical relationship with my wife, and she is unwilling to even discuss it. I long for female companionship and touch but do not want to get a divorce.

What can I do?

Get your wife to go with you to marriage counseling.

Or consign yourself to being the "bad guy" that cheats on your wife and hire a prostitute.

A lot of intimacy in a marriage is lost with physical intimacy lost--even if you do not have sex, there are other ways to be physically intimate, like cuddling, kissing, holding hands, etc.

Has your wife EVER given you a reason why she does not want to be physically intimate anymore?

I personally don't think hiring a prostitute is a good idea.
