My boss is named Springer (first name), and he does not know the origin of his name. All he knows is that his parents claim it was the name of a movie character from when they were dating so it would have been sometime during the sixties or before. I am at a loss to find anything that might possibly be the source, despite my belief that I possessed sufficient Google skills. Does anyone have an idea?
