    Pregnant on birth control?
Can you really get pregnant when you are taking birth control, always at the same time every day? I've heard so many different answers, I don't know what to believe. That is the only form of contraception that my boyfriend and I use so I just want to know that it will work. Please help!

Yes it is possible... the odds are low, but they always are there.

Certain drug interactions, such as certain classes of antibiotics can dramaticly increase the odds to the point that they will render "The Pill" ineffective while its in your system. If you are on or might take other meds... I suggest speaking with the pharmacist to learn more. And why its good to get all prescriptions from the same pharmacy. They will usually notice this and warn you, but you can't count on that.

We actually have several experts on the site who have gotten pregenat despite using THREE forms of birth control properly. One is a Nurse.
