I have a prescription for Tramadol. A well-meaning neighbor gave me a loritab and now I'm worried about a possible drug test. I thought that tramadol was a narcotic... it is a opiod analgesic but now I'm worried that I will be in trouble...

Tramadol is detectable by drug screens but I don't understand your concern.

I was afraid that the tramadol would NOT be detectable, therefore the Loritab WOULD be... making me 'dirty'. Thank you, I feel a LOT better now!

You have nothing to worry about if you take your pill bottle with you and advise whoever is giving you the drug test just exactly what you are taking and prescribed by Dr. so and so.
