We have a brand new Moen faucet(about 3 weeks old) that we put in with our kitchen renovation. I thought I was crazy, but I have the same problem. Fizzy water and bad taste. The old Moen faucet I had was only about 5 years old but I had no problem with it. I'm going to contact Moen about this immediately.

You piggybacked on a 2 year old dead thread so I gave you one of your own. Before you post look in the upper left hand corner for the date. Fizzy water and bad taste? Pleas explain "fizzy water". Isn't that what a aerator is susposed to do? Have you removed the aerator and ran the water? Still smells? Is the smell worse on hot or cold? Let me know what Moen has to say. Good luck, Tom
