How to commit an insane relative against their will
My wife's sister who is about 52 needs to be committed--at least for observation. She has attempted suicide twice, has gone off her meds, is about to be evicted and she will join the people roaming the street with a shopping cart if something isn't done. She lives in Texas.

How can her sisters and brother force her into confined hospitalization before it is too late?

Her brothers and sisters will need to get an attorney and file a motion in court for a hearing.

It will take several relatives to agree and work together. But then someone has to pay for her to be confined, most of the state instituions only hold them till they are better with meds and then turns them out on the street with info on where to go to state hospital daily for meds.
