Why do we need so many documents to get a marriage license... Drivers license and Birth certificate are sufficient.. We cannot seem to process online social security cards. How long is this process... We want to get married next week... What is the actual price of the marriage license?

Where did you get the idea you need so many documents? The requirements are your Social Security card and ONE of the following:
# Driver's License
# Military Identification
# Highway Department Identification
# Passport with a current visa attached
