I just recently went to the doctor and gave them a urine sample. I was having pain while urinating and frequently had to go, so frequent I can't stay asleep. I still am experiencing these symptoms since I just started my medication today. When the nurse called me today to let me know exactly what was going on, she said there was mild growth? What exactly does that mean?

If you were given medication (antibiotics?), it sounds like you have a urinary tract infection or a bladder infection ("mild growth" of bacteria).

You have a mild growth of bacteria rendering you with a urinary tract infection (UTI).

Be sure to take ALL of the antibiotics prescribed to you.
