If you have acne prone skin, the best types of make up to use are either oil-free make up or non-comedogenic make up. The label on the foundation or powder should state that it is oil-free.

I have used a couple of mineral products on my clients and I like them A LOT! Glo MInerals and Bare Esentuals both offer what they call a "Foundation Powder". I was skeptical because any foundation I use on acne sits ontop of it and you can see everything. But the stuff really works!! It actually covers and blends into the skin tone because it is a powder and it usually offers some SPF becusse of the minerals in it. If you take a big powder brush, dip it in the powder, tap of excess and swirl the brush all over your face to sort of blend it into the skin. You will have to practice a few times to get it so you don't use too much powder. Eventually you will get it. Start with just a teeny amount of powder on the brush and add more as you go. You can sprinkle a little powder into the lid, swirl the brush in that and then swirl it onto your face with a smooshing motion.(light pressure) This helps ensure the powder isn't stuck to one part of the brush and plops right on one part of your face!
    Good luck!
