My girlfriend had just ender her period and we had intercourse the next day! The condom had broke, but it couldn't be deep because we both herd it break! I told her to go wash, and the next day we got the morning after pills and she took them as instructed! Could she be pregnant? HELP!

Yes, any sex can end up in a baby.

1. does not have to be "deep" just in.
2. condoms have a normal failure and some fail without you knowing it has failed. Small leaks
3. the morning after pill is not 100 percent effective, the longer you wait from the time of sex, the less effective it is.

So chances are low, but is there a chance ? Yes of course

But it was a day after her period. So she would not be ovulating yet though right?

But no, women can get pregnant even during their period. It is not the same for every women, their fertile times vary. So unless they were tracking that, they do not know when implantation can take place.
