I need help determining the coefficient of kinetic friction in this problem.
A 4.10 kg block is pushed along the ceiling with an constant applied force of F = 78.5 N that acts at an angle = 53 with the horizontal, as in the figure below. The block accelerates to the right at 5.56 m/s2. Determine the coefficient of kinetic friction between the block and the ceiling.

I need to calculate the rate of acceleration in this problem
A clerk moves a box of cans down an aisle by pulling on a strap attached to the box. The clerk pulls with a force of 176.0 N at an angle of 23 with the horizontal. The box has a mass of 32 kg, and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the box and the floor is 0.45. Find the acceleration of the box.

    Then,

Where R is the normal reaction between the object and the surface, mu is the coefficient of friction. R is obtained from Newton's Third law of motion, which states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
