Menstural cycle changed is it normal?
    Hi,
My menstural cycle has changed suddenly from 32 days to 28 days . Is it normal? My first day flow is almost black? I am 26 yrs old and married. I am planning for kids. Will this be a problem ?

Sri36, an average cycle is 28 days. IT would seem, if your cycle has been 32 days before, and is now 28 days, you may have a slightly irregular period. I have a VERY irregular period. I have had 3 periods in one month, and I have gone 3 months with Out a period before. I am still healthy, and have 1 child. It can make it more difficult, as far as timing is concerned. It took me quite a while. But it does not make you infertile.

Very dark, or brown blood, can indicate that it is older blood, from your previous period that may be flushing out with the new.

Always keep your doctor aware of what is happening with your body. And keep a small pocket calendar with you to note your menstruation times. When you start trying to have children, your doctor will need your cycle history. :) I wish you luck!

Gemaaa, first, remember to start your own post to ask a question, but I believe it should be all right to answer you real quick.

See your doctor to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary for you. And relax. Some women have longer cycles, some have shorter, some don't have any set cycle at all.
