I go to a reputable salon, where I had my dark brown hair colored a warm shade of dark brown, & added honey blonde highlights. The highlights immediately turned orange, & brassy, in spite of my using an expensive shampoo for color treated & highlighted hair that most salons sell. My stylist recommended dying the whole head a neutral shade of brown, & adding light brown highlights to my short, layered hair. She said this would not turn brassy. 24 hours later, the light brown highlights began to turn to a orangey & brassy again. What is the problem?
