There is no "normal" for everyone, there is normal for you. Periods start at any time of the day, so if you never got one to start during the day it was just chance.

But you can still of course get pregnant (and I will assume that is your desire since you are having unprotected sex) so you will have to wait for the next month to see if that period comes

Given that you haven't had a period start in the daytime yet, I suspect that you are very young. PLEASE go to a free clinic for the pill or patch. Otherwise you will likely be pregnant (condom, pulling out, don't work very well) by the end of the year and saddled with a child for the next 18 years, with no childhood left for you.
