I have tried to use the system restore. It keeps coming back cannot be restored. I have created a date and then tried to restore and still says it is unable to restore.
Any suggestions?

I saw a similar problem recently where the restore option didn't work. It turned out that the battery on the system board was low. This caused the date to be misread. After replacing the battery (which I picked up at a local Walgreens for a couple of bucks), all worked well.

Thanks, for input, but I don't think that is the problem. My motherboard, Asus P5W DH, is 3 months old.
