Need to run wire to a clothes dryer.
How many feet of 10-3 nmb can be safely run on a 30 amp fuse? This is going to a clothes dryer?

How many amps does your dryer pull?

Better you tell us how long the run is if not in a normal home.

A normal dryer uses #10 wire and a 30 amp circuit, and in a normal house will work fine.

The dryer is connected to a 30 amp. Circuit breaker with 30-3 nmb wire. It is approximately 25' from the ELEC.BOX I want to move the dryer to the garage and I will have to add about 45 more Ft. of 30-3 wire.it will be less than 100 feet of 30-3 wire from the ELEC. Box to the dryer. It is a regular dryer which I am told uses about 4500 watts. Is it safe to use the dryer with the added wiring?
I think that "thrussell has told me it's OK?

That distance will be fine, just make sure you use the appropriate junction box and wire connections to extend the 10/3 wire.
