Just tested the safety thermostat from my gas dryer on a digital multimeter and it reads 01.0 to 00.9 is the part good or bad oh yeah tested at 200 oms
If you were on the 200 ohm scale then a reading of .9 or 1.0 would mean that the safety is good. When testing with an ohm meter always touch the leads together to see what you get. I bet you get .9 or 1.0 when you do this. Getting the same reading when testing the safety means the safety is good. A safety will either be open or closed with nothing in between. DrTom4444
