Hi... I have a problem with my hard drive, I have 1 har drive 80 gb sata, with partition c and d, and I have a second hard drive (f) with 40 gb ide, in this hard drive I have alla my documents and all my data, in c u have the system data...

Yesterday I wake up and the drive f on my comp was displayed like unallocated in computer management , and my options with right klik on the drive is only propeties and help...

Thas all.. saw if some one can help me to rescue my data , I will thenk himmm...

Was your computer ON overnight? Or did it happen after booting into Windows?

Did you try rebooting? And still the same thing? Does the BIOS during bootup see the drive?

If its an *old* drive, then perhaps its useful lifetime is up.

More details would be helpful.
