    Pro Se family case
My husband is in the process of adopting my two children from a previous marriage. Everything is done except the Motion to decline jurisdiction from the original state I was divorced in. Im searching for an example or template on how to title and prepare the motion. I can't find anything! If someone out there has a guide to help me out I'd really appreciate it. This is the only thing holding up this adoption.

I do not recommend doing an adoption pro se. I would strongly suggest you at least get a para legal to prepare the paperwork

PS in the future please don't use symbols in your titles.

Does the other parent still live in the state where you originally filed for divorce and custody or did all the parties vacate ?

@califdadof3... No involved parties live in the state and have not lived in the state for many years. We have already had a pre-trial and everything is a go. This is the only thing the judge is missing and she will set a final hearing. All I need is a guide on putting the motion together.

Here is an example of one for Florida. The wording for yours will be different but the outline and intent is the same.
