For the past few days my crotch has been dry, itchy, and it's been hurting. What could cause it to do that? And is there a treatment?

It could be something as simple as a yeast (thrush) infection, or something more serious like a STD, if you are sexually active.

There is a treatment no matter what it is, but it will have to be properly diagnosed by a medical provider first.
