A bat flying in a cave emits a sound and receives its echo .2 s later. How far away is the cave wall? Assume the speed of sound to be 340 m/s. Answer in units of m.
1. Use the distance or displacement/speed formula
Speed = Distance / Time taken
Then add the distance that you got with the distance the cyclist already had from the point A.
2. Remember that the distance that the sound covers is twice the distance to the wall. Can you try this out with the above formula?
