SSR is exempt from levy, but not your military retirement. Go to the bank and show them your SSR deposits are exempt.
If u are retired than your income is your pension or you can show it as a low income with no requirement to pay any tax according to government rule and this would be exempt for u by the government all the best dear...
As noted your SS is exempt, and your military may be exempt. I would give a letter to your bank that your all the income in your account is from exempt sources and therefore not subject to attachment.
